Super Mud Dry, a sister product to the successful
Super Mud, was designed as a soil stabiliser for use in coarse soils (heavy gravel, cobbles, etc). Super Mud Dry has the ability to quickly impart a very high viscosity (100+ mfv) and creates within it’s body, fish-eye structures to assist in plugging the walls of the excavation which reduces fluid loss. Super Mud Dry, as Super Mud, is salt tolerant and disposes easily. The comparison is 14 pounds (6.4kg) of Super Mud Dry to one 5 gallon (19 litre) pail of Super Mud. Super Mud Dry carries all environmental safety features of Super Mud.
USAGE: Pretreat make-up water with Soda Ash to pH 8-10. Mix at a rate of 1 pound (0.45kg) Super mud Dry to 300 gallons (1.1 cubic metres) of water to reach a Marsh Funnel Viscosity of approximately 40 seconds per quart. Sift Super Mud Dry slowly into rapidly moving water which is fanned across the auger or otherwise manipulated to provide a point of rapid and wide water flow. Increase dosage for higher viscosity. |
QUIK FLOC

Quik floc is an additive which was designed to decrease the settling time of free floating fines that become intertwined within the slurry. When added to a slurry, Quik Floc rapidly separates these particles, dropping them to the bottom of the excavation for easy removal. Quik Floc works as a compatible additive for Super Mud and has been used in bentonite slurries to reduce the amount of mechanical clean up required to prepare for a pour. Quik Floc is salt tolerant and meets the same rigorous environmental standards as Super Mud.
USAGE: The mixing ratio is 1 to 2 quarts (1.5 litres) of Quik Floc per 4,200 gallons (16 cubic metres) of slurry. Mix through a venturi type mixer, if mixing in a surface tank, or directly into a rapidly moving stream of slurry. Flocculation should occur within 30-60 minutes. |
